The player was just one number short of the €19.6M jackpot.
The National Lottery are continuing to urge players all over the country to check their tickets from Wednesday night’s draw after 30 players came to within just one number of the €19.06 million jackpot on offer.
A player in Offaly, along with 29 others, won a payout of €29, 273 after matching five numbers correctly.
As Wednesday night’s jackpot was capped, this meant that the funds that would usually be added to the jackpot were instead distributed to the next prize tier at which there was a winner
