An Offaly man has transformed stories he used to tell his kids into a book.
Using his spare time wisely during lockdown, Michael Barnes put pen to paper and created The Natureals: Book 1 - Granny's Big Secret - based off magical creatures his children used to imagine lived in their garden.
Michael - who's since sourced artwork and published the book online - says he undertook the project to stay busy during the pandemic, not to make money, so all of the funds are going to UNICEF:
