The scammer has been asking for donations through a fake profile.
An Offaly musician has been the victim of an online scam involving a fake Facebook profile and a demand for money.
Ferbane's Olivia Douglas says she was notified of the scam after a friend received a message from the page asking for a €900 donation to finish a new album.
She's the second victim known after country singer Lisa McHugh had the same issue.
Ms Douglas is encouraging anyone who may receive a message to block the user immediately:
