An Offaly pilot is part of the ongoing effort to transport personal protective equipment from Asia to Ireland. 

Emily Donohue usually operates transatlantic flights for Aer Lingus but is now part of the government's plan to bring in €200m worth of PPE from China.

It's a 28 hour round trip with a four hour turnaround for the seven strong crew on board.
