She's due to retire this year.
The long-standing manager of an Offaly post office is retiring.
Breda Byrne has been running the Kinnitty office for over 40 years, but will finish up at the end of October.
In a post on social media, she is thanking everyone in the community for their support over the past four decades.
She also says while she's looking forward to retirement, she will miss all of the Post Office's customers.
With Ms. Byrne set to retire in October, An Post has launched a campaign for a new retail partner for the Kinnitty site, and anyone interested is being encouraged to get in touch.
