Edenderry's Bobby Reynolds and Shane Kelly are just a few runners set to take on the run from Malin to Mizen Head.
Offaly runners are set to take on a 600km run to raise funds for two charities.
Edenderry's Bobby Reynolds and Shane Kelly alongside Ruari O'Neill, Conor McCarthy, PJ Reynolds and Jack Mullane will be taking on an endurance run spanning from Malin Head in Donegal to Mizen Head in Cork, between May 1st and 3rd.
Team members will take turns during the challenge so that one runner is always on the road for about 50 hours straight until they reach the finish.
Aiséirí Progression Programme, which helps individuals rebuild their lives after overcoming addiction and Feileacáin, which offers care and support to families grieving the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy are the two charities involved.
Mr Kelly says they are close to reaching their goal of raising €25,000:
