Two schools in Offaly have been granted approvals this week.
There are more schools in Offaly that need investments to improve their facilities.
That's according to Offaly TD John Clendennen following the announcement of approved capital works for St. Joseph’s National School in Arden View, Tullamore by the Department of Education.
There was also approval granted earlier this week to Scoil Shinchill in Killeigh, for extensions to the school, including three new Special Education Needs classrooms.
Deputy Clendennen hopes to see more schools receiving further upgrades in the future.
