Offaly TD Urges Stronger Collaboration For Taxi Sector Improvements

An Offaly TD is asking for collaboration among stakeholders in order to develop a stronger taxi sector.

A study by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission shows four in ten people struggled to book one in December.

The Transport Minister is ruling out ridesharing apps with private car drivers after the consumer watchdog called for them to be deregulated. 

Fine Gael's John Clendennen is the former president of the Vintners Federation of Ireland.
