Ferbane is the second Offaly town to obtain funding.
The completion of a Town Centre First Plan for an Offaly town is being announced by the local authority.
Following the impact of Clara’s Town Centre First Plan in 2024, Ferbane was identified as the second town in Offaly to obtain funding under the national Town Centre First programme.
The scheme highlights the strengths and challenges for the town, proposing projects that would help improve residents’ quality of life.
The plans are set to be launched at a public meeting this evening, getting underway at 7pm in the town's Heritage Centre.
