Practical items like toiletries, pyjamas and socks, along with playing cards, games and teddies are needed.
An Offaly woman is appealing for help to put together care packages for a local nursing home.
Michelle Murphy and her family are rounding up practical items like toiletries, pyjamas and socks, along with playing cards, games and teddies, to deliver to Ofalia House in Edenderry.
She's spreading the word online and encouraging people to donated items or create their own care pack, with a list of drop off points on Facebook.
She's hoping it will brighten up December for the residents and staff.
Food donations are not allowed per national guidelines.
