Con Murphy and Cathy MacAleavey have been given a stay on that order until August 27th.
An Olympian's parents have been given a temporary reprieve in a long running battle over their unauthorised building of two large sheds on a midlands lake.
Rio 2016 silver medalists Annalise Murphy's parents Con Murphy and Cathy MacAleavey have been granted leave to apply for a judicial review after a circuit court failed to refer their case to the Court of Appeal.
The Irish Independent is reporting Roscommon County Council prosecuted the pair for failing to comply with two enforcement notices to remove the sheds on land they own by Lough Ree in Mountplunket.
They were then ordered to remove the structures after losing a subsequent circuit court appeal.
Ms Murphy's parents have been given a stay on that order until August 27th and can apply to have that stay extended until the judicial review is decided upon.
