One Midlands County Showing Slow Down In Growth Of Rent Prices

The average price receded nearly 7% in the fourth quarter of last year.

Laois is the only county in the midlands showing a significant slow down in the growth of rent prices year on year.

Rents in the O'Moore County went up by just 1% in 2022 compared to the year previous, while the average price receding nearly 7% in the fourth quarter of last year.

The picture is significantly different in Offaly where they've jumped 11.6% in 12 months and 4% in quarter four.

Rents fell back just under 3% in the last quarter in Westmeath but increased by 11% over the year.
