A Councillor is calling for safety works to be carried out.
Safety has 'gone out the door' in relation to a Laois road.
Independent Councillor, Ollie Clooney, is speaking out on the lack of safety measures along the N77 between Abbeyleix and Durrow, particularly around the River Nore.
He says works were recently carried out on the route, including re-markings, but no safety measures were put in place.
