It's part of the Food for Ireland campaign.
Over 16,000 meals have been redistributed from Lidl stores around the midlands this year.
The Food for Ireland campaign sees the supermarket chain team up with not-for-profit group FoodCloud, to donate surplus food to those in need.
Stores across the country - including their six branches in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath - also offered customers the opportunity to donate some food themselves.
