46 per cent are women aged 20 and over, with men in the same age range accounting for 21 per cent of new arrivals.
The figures from the CSO are up to date as of the week ending February 12th.
Over 3,000 of them are in the midlands.
Westmeath is now home for 1,540 Ukrainians, with Laois offering refuge to 873, while 671 are in Offaly.
