Over New 40 Gardaí Deployed To Laois Offaly Division

The Chief Super is asking to public to keep co-operating fully with checkpoints.

Over 40 new Gardai have been deployed to the Laois/Offaly division.

Chief Superintendent John Scanlon says that the force has never had more boots on the ground than during the current crisis.

Movement restrictions imposed by the Taoiseach due to end on April 12th could be extended following a meeting of the national public health emergency team.

Supt. Scanlon is asking to public to keep co-operating fully with checkpoints:
