Over 40% Increase In Under 18s Seeking Help From Pieta House

Therapists are being hired in the midlands to help deal with demand.

A suicide and self-harm charity has seen a 42% increase in the number of under 18s seeking help this year.

Pieta House has seen an overall rise in demand for services of 22% since last year, with over 4,500 people needing support.

The charity is recruiting more therapists in a number of locations, including the Midlands, to try to meet the high level of demand.
