Over 4,000 New Cars Registered In Midlands Last Year

New SIMI figures shows Laois registered the most cars last year.

Over 4,700 new cars were registered in the Midlands last year, up by 5%.

New figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry shows Laois had the biggest increase at 1,582 registrations in 2025 - up by 10%

In Offaly, figures were up by 5.1% to 1,374 while in Westmeath, registrations were recorded up by 2.7% to 1,745.

Nationally,  registrations for 2025 reached 124,954, up by 3% when compared to 2024- 121,316.
