The second stream of funding has gone to projects in Offaly.
Almost 136,000 euro is being allocated to projects across the Midlands in the second round of a Government funding scheme.
The CLAR scheme focuses on small scale projects in rural areas that have experienced population decline.
The second strand of funding focuses on projects around Mobility, Cancer Care, Community First Responder and Meals on Wheels Transport.
The North Offaly Community Development Network in Daingean has gotten just over 24,800 euro for a van for their network.
While around 40,000 euro is going to fund a search and response van for Offaly Search and Rescue, and 71,000 euro for a rescue van for Lough Ree Search and Recovery.
