Nationally, 111 projects will receive over €500,000, in total, in funding.

Over €20,000 has been allocated to promote the integration of migrants and refugees in the midlands.

The money comes as part of the Community Integration Fund.

Laois will receive €12,740 for The Laois Brazilian Support Association, The Laois Integration Network and The Laois Partnership company.

Helium Arts in Mullingar and Mullingar Lithuanian Community will receive €5,000 each.
