A National Day of Hospital Protests will take place across the country today over the crisis in EDs.
The first demonstration will be held in Limerick at 11 o'clock this morning outside the City Hall on Merchants Quay.
The rest will kick off at 1 o'clock this afternoon outside 17 other hospitals, including Mullingar Regional Hospital, in anger over the damage being done to the health service.
