Parents of children presenting with behavioural or emotional difficulties should "look at their screen time and se the impact that it's having".
That's according to Sensory Informed Neuro Developmental Therapist Aine Farrell in Mullingar.
She also says that too much screen time can lead to the muscles in the eyes not being exercised enough.
She adds that many children like screen time because it can make them feel safe,
