Little Hill Animal Rescue will be travelling a number of midlands towns.

People in the midlands are being encouraged to adopt hens, to save them from going to the slaughter-house.

Little Hill Animal Rescue works with famers to collect and re-home hens who are not deemed commercially viable.

The group will be in Edenderry, Mullingar and Kinnegad this coming Saturday; and then Abbeyleix and Roscrea on Sunday.
