People In The Midlands Have The Least Amount Of Disposable Income

Offaly has the lowest in the region and the fourth lowest in Ireland.

People in the midlands have the least amount of disposable income in the country.

On average, people in the region have just over €19,000 of disposable income in 2020, 18.8% below the national number.

Westmeath had the highest income in the midlands, at €19,729.

That's followed by €18,842 in Laois, and €18,757 in Offaly, the lowest in the region and the fourth lowest in Ireland.

People in the capital had the most disposable income, at €27,688.
