Hundreds of meteors will be visible.
One of the most spectacular sights of of the year will fill the midlands' skies this weekend.
Over 100 meteors will rain through the atmosphere tomorrow night as part of the Perseids Shower, and the spectacle can be viewed without a telescope or binoculars.
While it may be cloudy, the shower can occur anywhere in the sky, so everyone is encouraged to keep looking for clear patches.
Member of the Midlands Astronomy Club, Seanie Morris says the phenomenon will look like a blazing trail in the sky:
