Laois Service Station To Be Replaced With Major Housing Development

74 homes will be created in the process.

74 new homes are on the way for Portlaoise.

Planning permission has been granted for the large-scale development on Grattan Street along the Mountrath Road.

The project will first see the demolition of a derelict service station and two existing homes, with developer Philip Meagher constructing 67 houses and seven apartments in their place.

The homes will range in size from two-bed to four, with some up to three storeys in height.
