The State's planning body will now rule on the future of the development.
Plans for a billion euro data centre in Westmeath have been hit with a fresh appeal.
John Conway, through BCK Solicitors, is objecting to the project due to its expected impact on the electricity grid, the height of the proposed buildings, and the absence of a waste heat capturing system in the plans.
Mr Conway has previously objected to data centres and large scale residential plans in Dublin.
Reports indicate the centre is expected to bring with it 1,700 direct and indirect jobs.
The application was initially approved by Westmeath County Council earlier this month, before an invalid appeal was lodged by Mr Conway.
The State's planning body will now rule on the future of the development.
