Synergy Health Ireland are seeking planning permission for the near 7,000 square metres facility on the Clara Road, next to the Axis Business Park, in Tullamore.
The proposed development consists of a high bay and loading storage area, a processing area and a technology area.
The new development will be the second sterilisation facility operated by Synergy Health Ireland in Tullamore, with one already established in the IDA Business Park.
A decision from Offaly County Council is due by the 2nd of May.
