A decision is due on the proposed conversion in February.
Plans have been lodged to breathe new life into former Laois pub.
If approved, The Contintental Lounge on Main Street, Portarlington will be converted into a restaurant and upstairs apartment.
The pub was previously owned by well-known local business man Pat Flanagan, who passed away in 2019.
A decision is expected in February 2022.
