Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident.
Post mortem examinations will be carried out today on three people who died in a collision in Carlow on Wednesday night.
Katie Graham, from Arles, Daryl Culbert and Michael Kelly died in a crash on the N80 at Leagh.
Gardaí continue to investigate the incident, and are asking anyone who may have information to contact them at Carlow Garda Station.
Meanwhile, there was a separate crash on the N80 near Templepeter at around 7.20pm yesterday evening.
No-one was injured but it happened close to Leagh where the Carlow crash tragedy happened.
