New figures from the Central Statistics Office show the price of a house in the midlands is up by just over 3 percent on 2019.
House prices in the South West of Ireland have also risen by over 5 percent in the year to August.
Nationally, the cost has decreased marginally in twelve months, despite the effects of the pandemic on the economy.
