160 IPAs are due to be housed at the hotel.
Protests are continuing today at Racket Hall Hotel in Roscrea - where locals are angry over plans to house asylum seekers.
It's understood 40 rooms in the building are being re-designed to accommodate 160 International Protection Applicants.
Representatives for the local community say they don't agree with the plans and they're 'not backing down on their protest'.
