Laois County Council is set to host a public information meeting ahead of planned river catchment works.
The National Agricultural Inspection Programme team is set to begin farm inspections across river catchments, located in the surrounding areas of Raheen and Trumera as part of ongoing efforts to enhance water quality.
The session is set to include an overview of the NAIP programme, with details on how inspections will be carried out and the areas of focus during farm assessments.
The NAIP team will hold the public information meeting this evening from 8:00pm at The Maldron Hotel in Portlaoise.
