A public meeting tonight is looking to recruit locals to a campaign to turn old boglands in Laois into a tourist attraction.
The Cul Na Mona boglands near Portlaoise were previously used for peat production.
The community group feel there's potential for the network, with a proposal being discussed on a possible greenway to link them together.
They're also looking for more local opinions on how the land could be used.
The meeting takes place tonight at 7 in the Parish Centre on the Stradbally Road in Portlaoise.
