It comes as seven pupils in the area are without a seat on the bus.
A public meeting, regarding the lack of places on school buses, will be taking place in the midlands this evening.
It comes as seven post-primary students in Emo and The Rock are without a seat for the Mountmellick Community School route, and Bus Éireann has emailed those families to say that bus is full.
The service was re-established last year thanks to campaigning from local parents, and they're now seeking a bigger bus to keep up with demand.
The meeting will take place in Emo Community Centre this evening at 7.30 - all families are invited, as well as local TDs.
