A public meeting to discuss long term job creation opportunities is taking place in Offaly this evening.

It will also cover the plans by Futurecast CEO JJ O'Hara to zone land in Shannonbridge for fire testing portacabins and modular buildings.

The company expects to create 35 to 45 jobs.

Midlands MEP Ciaran Mullooly is hosting the meeting and believes this project needs to be given a chance:
