Laois renters saw the highest number of evictions in the region.
Over 208 eviction notices were issued in the midlands in the first quarter of this year.
New figures from the Residential Tenancies Board show Laois renters received the largest number of notices to quit in the region, at 90.
That's followed by 75 in Westmeath, and 43 in Offaly.
Nationally, the RTB received 4753 eviction notices in the first three months of the year.
55% of the notices of terminations so far in 2023 were as a result of landlords selling up.
Focus Ireland says it's "highly worrying", especially at a time when over 12,000 people are homeless.
