Redevelopment Of Derelict Site In Offaly Gets January Start Date

A library and performing arts centre is being built in Edenderry.

Construction of a new library and performing arts centre in Offaly will begin in January. 

It'll be situated on a derelict, 33 acre former Tesco site in Edenderry, with official plans to be revealed next month. 

The project gathered steam after a €100,000 funding boost from government last year, allowing the plans to be compiled.
