A sports needs assessment for the facility is currently underway.
A new Regional Sports Complex is the perfect opportunity for the swimming pool needs of a midlands town to be addressed.
The Mullingar Pool Action Group is calling on the people of the town to voice their support for a new pool as part of a new Sports Needs Assessment which was launched by Westmeath County Council last week.
In-person consultations will be held on the 20th and 21st of February from 3pm to 8pm at the Westmeath County Council building in Mullingar.
There is also an online sports needs assessment, which closes on the 27th.
