There are currently 199 pupils in Ballinamere NS as well as three autism classes.
Concerns over Special Needs Assistant allocations at an Offaly school have been temporarily eased after the school’s full complement of nine SNAs for its Summer Provision programme was reinstated.
Ballinamere National School in Tullamore, has 199 pupils and three autism classes catering for 18 children.
It was informed last week that SNA support for the programme would be cut by a third.
