Auctioneers are renewing their calls for the Government to get rid of the Rent Pressure Zone legislation.

The Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers believes its increasing rents and accelerating the exit of private landlords from the market.

New figures from Daft.ie shows the average rent in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath is now over €1,300.
