Contraband of almost €765,000 has been seized by Revenue in various operations in the Midlands, Dublin, Rosslare and the South-East.
32.4kg of herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of almost €650,000 - and various illicit drugs, with an estimated value of over €48,000 were seized during parcel checks by Revenue officers.
Almost 91 litres of alcohol, with a retail value of over €2600 and representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of almost €1250 were also seized in the Midlands and Rosslare.
Nine weapons were also seized seperately in the Midlands.
Investigations into all seizures are ongoing.
