Rising Insurance Costs Threaten Small Businesses - IRHA

IRHA President Ger Hyland wants the government to welcome insurance companies to Ireland.

Insurance costs mean small businesses across the country are under threat. 

That's according to The Irish Road Haulage Association, which believes competition for the insurance sector is needed in Ireland as motor, employer and public liability insurance costs continue to rise.

They are recommending the creation of an independent oversight mechanism to assess insurers financial performance.
