The Integration Minister has brought forward a proposals which would see new arrivals only offered accommodation for 90 days.
There are reports of a major rift within Government over new plans for Ukrainian refugees.
Integration Minister Roderic O'Gorman presented Cabinet with a proposal that would see new arrivals offered State accommodation for only 90 days.
A shortage of housing has left the government resorting to using tents in some cases.
However its understood Tanaiste Micheal Martin and other Fianna Fáil Minister's are concerned about the impact that would have on the Department of Housing which is already grappling with a housing shortage and record homeless figures.
