CEO of Westmeath County Council,Barry Kehoe says it's an important road safety matter.

The Road Safety Authority is urging people to cut back overgrown hedgerows growing on their land.

The RSA says overgrown hedges need to be cut by the end of the month, as hedge-cutting is banned from 1 March to 31 August.
