Mary Immaculate College in Limerick has announced an entrance scholarship in memory of Ashling Murphy.
The 23-year-old school teacher was killed while out for a run along the Grand Canal in Tullamore on January 12th.
The four thousand euro scholarship will be awarded to a first year primary teaching student at the college, for 'exceptional achievement and talent in the field of traditional Irish music'.
