34 people are waiting on beds in hospitals around the region - 20 of those are in Mullingar, with the remaining 14 in Portlaoise.

The Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore is reporting no patients are on trolleys today.

Nationally, 571 people are waiting for beds - the largest number of those is in University Hospital Limerick, where the figure is 98.
