Offaly golfer Shane Lowry is the newest ambassador for Temple Street Children's Hospital.
The Clara man was named RTE Sports personality of the year Saturday night for his exploits in winning The Open Championship in 2019.

It comes a year after Lowry and his wife Wendy raised €125,000 for the facility during a special exhibition match opening the golf course in Adare Manor.
