Waiting lists have jumped over 100% for multiple different services in the last five years.
There's been a 137% spike in waiting list numbers for local health services in the Midlands since 2019.
New HSE data shows there's 41,500 people waiting for appointments.
The region has the highest number of people on national waiting lists, in 30% of services, including physiotherapy as well as initial assessments for speech and language therapy.
Physiotherapy is seeing the biggest increase with 15,464 people currently on the waiting list - a 40% increase on last year and a 385% increase on 2019.
