One measure is raising Templemore’s intake capacity to 275 trainees.
Sinn Fein is calling on the Justice Minister to adopt proposals to address an ongoing recruitment and retention crisis within the Gardai.
The range of measures include an increase in the maximum capacity for the training college in Templemore to 275 people per intake.
An annual long service payment of €2,500 for all Gardaí who have served 30 years or more, and an increase in the training allowance to €579 a week are also being pushed by the party.
